Alright so when I was younger I loved math and I was quite good at the topic. I was always in the accelerated classes and generally had very little trouble with math related course material — it was a breeze. Now not so much,

In 8th grade my school made a major fuck up in the math department when switching between different companies curriculum and I along with my classmates more or less missed learning algebra going into high school. Given a equation, say f=ma I had no idea how people were able to quickly derive a=f/m from that until the end of freshman year.

Essentially ever since then math has been a real struggle for me and I don’t want it to be that way. In calculus and algebra 2 I always got decent grades, enough to move on, but to be honest if I were to go back to certain problems I would have no idea what to do. I’m going into college for engineering next year and I genuinely love the concept of what engineers go, I’m just worried about the math, how can I be good at it again?
